How Are DEMOCRAP and REPOOPLICAN Bags Causing Canine Constipation?

New Trademarks Published for DEMOCRAP and REPOOPLICAN Dog Poop Bags

Just in time for the 2016 U.S. Presidential Elections, two trademarks were recently published for use with canine waste receptacles (dog poop bags): DEMOCRAP and REPOOPLICAN. A company in Idaho, Ezydog, LLC, filed both of these trademark applications in April 2016. Whichever way you are leaning (politically), they seem to have you covered.

But what about the dogs? There is some concern that use of political party names may cause canines to become constipated, depending on the dog’s political party. If a certain dog has a party affiliation, he won’t want his party to be shamed by having the party named plastered on a bag of his own excrement. For example, German Shepherds or Rottweilers, the most Republican of dogs, may become constipated if their owner uses a “Repooplican” bag. (It’s well known that dogs are bad spellers.) Similarly, a Beagle or Poodle’s owner using a “Democrap” bag may cause constipation in these breeds. What am I saying here? I’m just saying, dog owners, please be sensitive.

Some are already thinking about an easy solution: use the dog poop bag with the opposing party’s name on it. Not so fast. This tends to swing the needle too far in the other direction, causing diarrhea. Dogs are such loyal animals, given the chance to soil the other party’s name in excrement, the dog’s bowels become uncontrollable and diarrhea ensues. Not unlike many news commentators (human) leading up to the 2016 U.S. Presidential Elections.

What about cats? Who cares.
